Operation EmpowHer Her-story
This spring after 2 of my fellow wind sisters were involved in 2 separate accidents, just weeks apart from each other. I had become hyper focused on helping the Ladies in my Riding Group get safety courses; group riding course (that was added to our already scheduled slow speed class), Accident Scene Management Course, and a garage day (just to look over the bikes before our trip to AL).
But why only offer that to just my chapter? Why not help fellow wind sisters learn more about their motorcycles, more practice on their motorcycles and to be prepared for emergencies?
So, with the help and support of some of THE ABSOLUTE BEST SISTERS and my VERY supportive husband, our application for 501(c)(3) has been ACCEPTED!!!! Operation EmpowHer is now a non profit and our wish is to get every lady rider out there the opportunity and the support she needs to ride the roads safe!
